Lilac Aranea, the Purple Spider (OC, Art Prompt#3)

Backstory:

Born into a humble family, Calliope Mira (or "Cally") always had a fascination for flowers and spiders, often collecting and observing different species. For the part of flowers, her favorite is the purple lilac. One day, while exploring a hidden cave, she stumbled upon a sacred eldritch artifact that triggered a strange transformation within her, while a strange creeping voice spoke to her. She suddenly developed retractable purple arachnid legs from her back and found herself imbued with superhuman reflexes and strength.

Panicking and lost, Cally was taken in by a spider cult who worshiped a supernatural Spider deity/force, who claimed to be responsible for her transformation. The cult taught her how to harness her powers and introduced her to the concept of paying tribute to the deity in order to keep her abilities under control.

As she grew more confident with her powers, the young woman became a prominent assassin, using her stealth and combat abilities to take on dangerous missions, killing corrupt political officials and crime lords. However, Cally's kind heart often got in the way of her profession, and she found herself struggling to reconcile her sweet nature with her dangerous abilities. She donned the name "Lilac Aranea, the Purple Spider".

Despite this inner turmoil, the young woman continued to hone her skills, always striving to use her powers for good. She is sensitive and empathetic towards others who deserve it. Often conflicted with her powers, she tries to do good with them and keep them under control. Though she was aware of the dark consequences of not paying tribute to the Spider deity, she remained determined to use her abilities for good and live a life true to her heart.

Calliope also never forgot her love for lilacs, and often surrounded herself with the fragrant flowers to remind her of the person she used to be before her transformation.

In her free time, she enjoyed baking raspberry and blueberry pies, and continued to observe and collect different species of spiders and flowers. She may be friendly, but she's a bit more introverted as well. With her newfound ability, Cally also keeps to herself and uses the excuse of delving into her hobbies most of the time.

Her powers include:
- Retractable and sturdy, flexible spider appendages from her back to help traverse vertical surfaces and ceilings (Spider Climbing), also to help in her attacks
- strong reflexes and strength.
- heightened senses
- transforming into a giant purple spider or humanoid spider (if the tribute is lacking, she transforms into a hungry monster humanoid spider)

Her abilities:
- Adept combat abilities
- knowledge of different poisons
- adept in stealth

Personality:
- Kind, charming, next-door-girl type, clever and knows how to think on her feet
- loves lilacs, jumping spiders, raspberry and blueberry pies
- while friendly, she's a bit more of an introvert and would rather indulge in her own world and hobbies when not doing any assignments
